JOHN LOFFREDO

John Loffredo has been a resident homeowner In Asbury Park since 1984. Since moving to Asbury Park, John has actively championed improvements to make Asbury Park the beautiful and Livable community it is today.

John served on the Asbury Park City council from 2000 through 2014 where he was instrumental in reviving the City by getting the City out of 30 years of redevelopment bankruptcy; achieving a AAA financial rating during his tenure; renegotiating the City out of a failed redevelopment deal,l and, negotiating with subsequent developers.

As a council person, a few of the boards John has served on were the Planning Board, Redevelopment Committee, Public Safety Committee, and Recreation Committee. During this time, John received the Carousel Award for Politician of the year and the Garden State Equality Trailblazer award.

Prior to his service as a City Councilperson, he was an active member of the Zoning Board, Environmental Shade Tree Commission and was the founding president of the Asbury Park Homeowners Association. During this time the Association received the Carousel award for Community Service.

John has been a professional realtor for nearly 30 years, and has won numerous awards throughout his career. As a member of the Monmouth County Real Estate Association, John serves on the Finance Committee, Political and Legislative Committee and the Public Relations Committee.

John has the experience, knowledge, energy and determination to keep Asbury Park moving forward.
